I am always looking for ways to improve. I know your thinking, "how can you possibly improve", but believe it or not I'm not perfect. I wanted to ask a couple questions in regards to fitness.
What are your biggest fears? about starting/continuing fitness, nutrition, etc
What are your biggest frustrations?
What are your biggest desires?
Please keep all responses clean; this is a family site. And remember today is the day to BURN MORE FAT!

Brandon! I am so excited about your new blog! What a way to keep on track. Through out the rest of the year it will help keep me motivated. Helping me become more accountable by sharing my progress with the rest of the world. Keep doing a great job by kicking my botty! You know ussually I am hating life in the hour I am training with you, that is until I am finished then I love it! See you in a bit!
Brandon, my biggest frustration in fitness and weight loss is the way in which my schedule always seems to get the best of me. That means I eat at the wrong times and eat the wrong things way to often. I'm trying to be more focused on that aspect of my training. If I can get that figured out then the results I'm wanting will actually happen.
Plan ahead. Life, especially at this time of year can get out of hand and leave us scrambling at the last minute to find something to eat. The worst part is, by the time you realize your hungry, it's too late and your most likely to over eat. It's important to not let this happen. Eating 5-6 times per day, can start to seem time consuming. I recomend shakes and bars for the times you are in a hurry.
Now start planning ahead. If you know what your schedule for the following day, make it a habbit to lay your food out the night before. This will help you from mindless snacking or stopping to get fast food. I love these new protein shooter from GNC, they are a quick and easy way to get some protien in. Even a handfull of almonds, a piece of fruit or some string cheese can help you get something healthy in until its time for your next meal.
What are your biggest fears? about starting/continuing fitness, nutrition, etc:
My fear is that I will loose motivation as I get older.
What are your biggest frustrations?
Not making the gym 4 days a week.
What are your biggest desires?
I want to be able to stay in shape as I get older and my life becomes busier and busier
Josh,
I have worked out for several years now and there are times where even I loose motivation. Your first step is to set goals. Then set a time table for those goals. This will hold you accountable. Your goals can be simple: make it to the gym 3 days per week, or more complex: decrease my bodyfat by 4% in weeks.
If making it to the gym 4 times per week is unrealistic, acomplish more in less time. Do total body workouts, superset exercises, decrease your rest time. So the time you are spending in the gym is productive.
As your life becomes busier, you just need to prioitize. I workout first thing in the morning, sure i have to get up earlier, but now there are no exuses for skipping the workout. Find a schedule that works for you and stick to it.
