I plan on doing this work out tomorrow. I have been banned from push-ups because I have torn cartilage in my wrist. Have an appointment with the hand doc next week.
Today, I did 35 min on elliptical and did 4 miles. 10 minutes on the stair stepper and a .5 miles on treadmill. My legs were too tired by the time I did treadmill. I also did 70 lbs on abdominal machine for 2 sets of 30. I did the chest press.
I kind of made up things as i went along today. My travel schedule is killing me. The hotel did not have a gym and it was really hard to find a gym...and Wednesday my customer kept me late so I could not make it to the gym before they closed. On Thursday, I started work at 8 am and by the time I left the customer site, I still had a 5 hour drive. Did not get home until 11 p.m. I had planned to leave sooner and get home to PLC by 8ish...did not work out.
Thursday's workout was almost identical to the one I did Wednesday, so for cardio I ran as hard as I could 15 minutes then biked hard another 15...
Friday did the posted workout and Saturday took the tri class.
Eating has not been ideal this week due to work schedule though...
use the tecnogym chest press instead of pushups. Stay away from adominal machines. They will make your belly bigger. Stay with the ab execises we use and focus on nutrition.
